Tailor's senior pix

I photographed Tailor for her senior photos at Cayucos Beach. It was a very beautiful evening and Tailor was great to photograph! Shy but willing to take some direction from me to get warmed up.

Katie's senior pix

Katie did slightly better than Kaylinda and got her senior yearbook photo down to two choices, but doesn't know which to pick. Which one do you think she should pick?
A funny story with Katie, when her and her mom came over for the viewing, I introduced them to my husband, Kelly, and they instantly recognized each other from when Kelly was in high school and Katie was in elementary school--he was her favorite high schooler in an afterschool program she was in and he worked at.

Jamie's Senior Photos, take 2

Jamie and I got together for her second senior photo session. We shot her first one last spring and since then her hair has gotten longer and is no longer blonde. We had a great time shooting at her home in Atascadero and at the Cayucos Beach. Her photos look terrific and I had such a GREAT time with her. Have a GREAT senior year, Jamie!

Graham wedding preview

I had the pleasure of photographing Michael and Felicia's wedding. I've know both of them for nine years, but they've dating for about 10 years now and we are all very happy that they've married and now live in the same town/state.
Felicia was the ideal bride--organized and knew what she want. It was fun watching her get ready for the wedding and how excited she (and Michael) were. They married in Danforth Chapel on the KU Campus in Lawrence, KS.
Thank you both for the opportunity to photograph your wedding!!!! I'm so happy for you!

This is when Michael saw the wedding present his bride gave him--an antique VW Beetle convertible that she bought in college and has since restored. Michael has always loved Bugs and she knew that that would be what she gave him. She had a time getting it from Topeka to Lawrence and keeping it hidden until they walked out of the chapel. It worked out perfectly when that when they exited the chapel that the guests blowing bubbles were blocking their view of the street and it wasn't until they got closer and the crowd parted that he saw it and she didn't have to say a thing--he just seemed to know.

Felicia and her mom put all the bouquets together. They were very beautiful and we had no idea they were homemade until Felicia told us.

Their reception was held in downtown Lawrence on Mass Street--in college our roommate, Willow, worked in the Eldridge, but it was the first time for me to step inside it, even though every night Felicia and I would walk by it on our nightly walks.
Felicia was a great model through our whole shoot. She's always a lot of fun and I love all of the different faces she gives.
CONGRATS, Felicia and Michael!
