This month is BIKE MONTH! Many of you know how much I love to ride my bike and now that we've moved to Paso, I use it to commute to Atascadero (along with the bus). I am taking part in the Commuter Bike Challenge--I'm excited. In two days, I've logged 55 miles. In the spirit of Bike Month, I want to challenge all of you to get your best bike photo. Be creative and have fun! The only requirement is that a bike must be in your photo.
Here is one I took for Kelly early in the morning leaving for work. On weeks he doesn't drive the carpool, he rides his bike to the meeting place. Getting there isn't bad, it's the ride home--at least for me, Kel seems to just fly up the hill.

Contest rules:

6. All entries are due by May 24, 2008. I'll feature the winning photo (and maybe some others) at our artist reception on May 30 from 5:30-9 p.m.
The prize for the winner is a Portrait Session (it could be your family, children, pet, engagement, maternity or high school senior) at a location of your choice in San Luis Obispo County (if you're out of the area, we can work something out--if you're in Kansas, I'll be there twice this summer). Included with the free session is a free 8x10 and 8 wallets.
I'm judging more on creativity than your photo skills, so have tons of fun and use lots of imagination!
I'm still thinking about prizes for runners up...possibly something bike related...hmmm...something to think about.
